Story Animals is a collection of short stories about animals, told by the humans who know them best.
The relationship between people and nature is essential for the well-being of all life on Earth. Yet it seems that, as a species, we are steadily losing that connection. When we do, we stop noticing the complexity and wonder in every creature. We forget that animals, too, are equal citizens of this planet.
And yet, across cultures and generations, humans have formed deep connections with animals. We have lived alongside them, worked with them, and built spiritual ties through myth, ritual and everyday experience. These relationships are physical, emotional and often profound. For every animal, there are countless stories waiting to be told.
By hearing these stories, we can deepen our appreciation for the animals we share this planet with.
We believe that storytelling represents one of our most powerful tools to rebuild our connection to the natural world.
